The Or Haganuz Elima label is produced in an innovative method developed by Dr. Arkady Papikian. The 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc blend underwent a long extraction time in contact with the grape skins from both varieties that were picked from mature vineyards in the Mount Meron hills in the Galilee. After a slow, cold fermentation, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 14 months. The result is a smooth, earthy and fruity wine that reflects the qualities of both of its varieties. This wine has no added sulfites, but naturally occurring sulfites do exist as they do in all wines.
