Darom meaning “the South,” was made by Yatir Winery to bring the quality grapes grown in the Negev Desert to the forefront of the Israeli wine industry. The grapes are grown in high-altitude vineyards in Mizpe Ramon and Ramat Arad. The Darom White was made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes that bring the complexity of the desert. The wine was fermented in stainless-steel vats and then aged for 4 months in concrete tanks, bringing unique flavor with good minerality
