Ebiatar (or Abiathar in English) meaning “my father is great”, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and slightly overripe Petit Verdot grapes grown in the Upper Galil. The blend has spicy freshness with a perfect density of fruit, yet has deep tannins and a silky finish. It is a blend from Ephod Winery that was established by David Suissa, a well-known luxury wine advocate in the French Kosher wine world who came to Israel to produce wine with vines that reflect his ancestral reputation. The vineyards David uses range from the Judean desert to the Golan Heights.
