Located in the Judean Mountains right as the Negev desert begins, Yatir winery is in the heart of the Yatir Forest. The forest was initiated by David Ben Gurion with the vision of making the Negev bloom and blossom. The region’s terroir gives a unique climate for growing grapes with the dry and cold desert frontier night climate and the high altitude of the vineyards. The diversity of the soil is reflected in all of the Yatir wines bringing succulent flavors that are well rounded on the palate.
