Grown in Samaria, the Shiloh Shor—meaning "ox" in Hebrew—is the symbol for the tribe of Ephraim, which is the territory where Shiloh winery sits. Shor Barbera is a unique and fine wine, made from 100% Barbera grapes. It is aged for 15 months in both French and American oak barrels bringing complexity and yet smooth tannins. Aromas of blackberry and a bouquet of wild flowers accompany notes of chocolate and coffee. It is ready to be enjoyed immediately, but will also age well for 5-7 years. To keep its outstanding quality, this wine is not filtered.
