Nana Estate Winery was named after founder Eran Raz, known as "Nana." The first grapes were planted in 2007 after the Raz family moved to Mitzpe Ramon because of their love for the desert. Tethys 2021's grapes were harvested at night by hand in the later part of the growing season, providing the wine with the intense flavors and fragrances of ripe fruit. Following the fermentation in stainless steel tanks, we increase the tank temperature, and it undergoes hot maceration with the skins for two weeks to produce a full-bodied wine with a velvety texture. The wine was aged 16 months in French oak barrels, of which only half are new barrels.
