The Jezreel Valley Carignan is made from grapes from the 45-year-old Shfeya vineyard north of Zikron Ya’akov, the first Jewish reestablished village in Israel. After being handpicked and aged for 18 months in oak barrels the Carignan has aromas of dark berries, vanilla and baking spices. It is full-bodied, yet smooth with flavors of blueberries, plum and cinnamon.
