Single vineyard Argaman comes from a vineyard in Givat Nilli. This single-varietal wine comes from a unique grape that was developed in Israel as a cross with the Carignan and Souzão grape varieties. Jezreel Valley Winery chose to embrace the uniqueness of the Argaman grape and give it attention as an original, high-quality Israeli varietal. The name "Argaman" comes from the color mentioned in scripture as one used in the tabernacle that was thought to be a deep purple. This wine is handpicked and aged for 22 months in oak barrels.
