Cremisan Estate Winery was founded in 1885 by Salesian Italian Priests and it's continued to be passed down since. The name Cremisan comes from the hill where the grapes have been grown since the winery’s beginning. All of the grapes are organically produced and the vines are tended without the use of pesticides and chemicals. In recent years, Cremisan has been working to produce high-quality wine from grapes that are native to Israel. Star of Bethlehem Red is a blend of both traditional red grapes and one of these native varieties. It has aromas of raspberry, cardamom, and dark chocolate; all reflecting the depth of the region where the grapes are grown.
