Alona Winery is an estate winery established in 2001 by the Azoulay and the Rabau families. Being neighbors in their small village, Givat Nili, they were inspired to start the winery from their abundance of love for the winemaking process and desire to show off the unique terroir of the Alona region. Topaz is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Shiraz, and was aged for 12 months in French and American oak. It takes on the rich minerality of the Alona terroir, faithfully reflecting all three of the varieties in the blend. It is available in the United States exclusively through Israeli Good Wine.
