Our tour begins in the region of the modern wine revival in Israel. We will be spending the morning with two of the founding families in the modern wine industry who began by growing grapes and now are making beautiful wines. At the first wine tasting, embrace an immersive experience pairing chocolate from Genoa, Italy with elegant Israeli wines. Then wander through the wine estate grounds to a quaint Israeli Boulangerie and eat an artful breakfast at a winery that exemplifies the heart and spirit of Israeli family winemaking. From the Costal Plains, we’ll be traveling to the biblical and historical ancient port city of Caesarea before lingering at one of our favorite boutique wineries, Alona, in the afternoon and then dinner at a boutique restaurant in the biblical city of Nazareth.
And that, my friends, is only the first day…
The tour dates are October 21-30, 2023. The tour will begin with a welcome reception on the evening of Saturday, October 21 from a hotel in Tel Aviv and will end with a cocktail (wine of course!) reception on the evening of October 30 in Tel Aviv/Yaffo.
You may arrive at any time prior to the welcome reception (please note that Saturday, Oct. 21 is a Shabbat), however, we encourage you to arrive a day or so before the tour begins in order to acclimate to time zone differences. Preferred airport is Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and the tour will begin from a hotel in Tel Aviv and end in Tel Aviv/Yaffo to make travel in and out of Israel more accessible. Transportation from/to the airport to the hotel prior to the tour beginning and after the tour ends is the responsibility of the traveler. You will be given specific instructions for where to meet for the welcome reception at 7:00pm on October 21 after registering.
The cost of the tour is $5,995.00 USD. Register by February 28, 2023 to receive an early bird discounted price of $5,795.00. Tour pricing is for land arrangements only and is all inclusive for lodging, meals, wine tastings, and activities. Airfare is not included and is the responsibility of the traveler. Pricing is based upon a double occupancy. Please indicate on your registration form who you will be rooming with. If no roommate is selected, a roommate will be assigned to you. If you would prefer no roommate, you will be responsible for paying the Single Room Supplement for an additional $2,190.00.

WHO'S GUIDING YOU:
We’re a hands-on experience based company so not only will you have a local, professional tour guide the entire trip, but you’ll meet firsthand with winemakers and local business owners, as well as have individualized tour guides at specific locations. You’ll also have access to three of the owners of Israeli Good Wine who have firsthand experience at every place we’re going and have been to Israel over 20 times combined (not to mention we live there about a month a year!). Our staff will be there to be hands-on assistance for anything you need and a staff will be documenting the trip so you have a video afterwards to remember all the fun times!
Things happen and sometimes you can't make a trip. We'd be really sad if you needed to cancel, but in the event you do, here's the Trip Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Terms & Conditions
Cancellation in writing must be received by 32 Parallel prior to departure for appropriate refund on the land tour cost minus the following fees. Airline penalties are not part of the percentages below and vary based on each individual airline policy.
Cancellation Fee Schedule:
We require a minimum of 30 participants in order to conduct this trip. In the unlikely event that there are fewer than the necessary number of participants, 32 Parallel will reschedule the trip for a later date or provide a refund. The experiences listed are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances or at the discretion of the tour leader.
If there is a safety issue that renders us unable to successfully conduct a tour, the tour would be rescheduled to a later date.
This is a considered a "low impact" trip with minimal exertion. However, it will require some walking and the ability to be on your feet at least two hours each day. This is not a wheelchair accessible trip.
Though we will be eating and drinking at many Kosher establishments, this is a considered a non-Kosher tour.
Travelers insurance is required for all participants. What insurance you choose is at your discretion. However, we do recommend a policy that allows you to “cancel for any reason" so that in case of cancellation, expenses such as airfare can be reimbursed by insurance. Submission of a PDF of your proof of insurance is required at the time of the final payment (to begin no later than the date of your departure for Israel). If you require assistance obtaining insurance, we recommend Jennifer Johnson at Nouvelle Travel as a preferred vendor for obtaining traveler’s insurance. You can reach her directly by emailing Jennifer@nouvelletravel.com. She is familiar with this tour, experienced in how to prepare personalized insurance quotes, and can offer quality rates. 32 Parallel is independent from and unaffiliated with Nouvelle.
We love our Members and we love giving opportunities to create community. If you’re an Israeli Good Wine Club quarterly subscriber who joins the tour, we’ll be sending you an extra box of wine to keep or share with friends and family… (Hey, maybe even share it with someone who you’d like to join you on the tour!)
For many of us, our introduction to Israel was on a biblical sites tour. Those are amazing for seeing a lot of sites packed into a tight itinerary, but it’s also hard to really get a feel for the people, the land, and some of the really special moments you can encounter when you linger. Our intention when crafting this tour was to create an experience that would be memorable and novel regardless if you’ve been to Israel once or dozens of times. We’re taking you to the historical and biblical sites that have had the most impact on us in addition to introducing you to some of our favorite wineries, restaurants, and people. Our goal is for you to have the experiences that we’ve enjoyed the most on our countless adventures in Israel.
The short answer is that this tour will give you an introduction to our favorite parts of some historical places, unique cultural experiences, and a whole lot of delicious food and wine! The longer explanation is that Israel is amazingly diverse, multilayered, and its people fascinating. We’ve hand-picked each winery, restaurant, biblical/historical site, and activity to give you a taste of Israel from our years of firsthand adventures. Our goal is for you to have experiences that allow you to walk away better understanding the land and truly be able to say that you’ve “tasted and seen” that the land is good while having a lot of fun in the process!
The tour includes luxury accommodations, meals, and adventures for the on-the-ground experience in Israel only. Transportation to/from Israel is the responsibility of the traveler. (We recommend flying versus taking a boat, but it’s totally up to you!). The best way to fly is in and out of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
We’ll meet in Tel Aviv on October 21 at 7:00pm and the tour will end on October 30 at 6:00pm. Lodging is not provided on the night of October 30. This allows you the freedom to fly out that night, book your own accommodations, or choose an optional add-on lodging for one night.
