Made from 84% Sauvignon Blanc grapes and 16% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Flam Family's top quality vineyard, located in the Judean Hills, this wine was fermented in controlled cold temperature stainless steel tanks for several weeks. The process enhances the extraction of fruity and citrus aromas in the wine.Golan Flam, the winemaker, says, "The fresh fruit along with a natural high acidity crafted a wine that is the perfect companion for a sunny afternoon and a glorious fish meal."
Flam Winery is probably the least known of the great wineries of Israel. It was founded in 1998 by the Flam Family in the Judean Hills near Castel and Beit Shemesh. Golan Flam is the winemaker, and he learned the art from his father Israel Flam, who was a winemaker at Carmel for many years. Their vineyards are in the Judean Hills and the upper Galil.
