Matar by Pelter is one of the most northern wineries in Israel. They're known for making Australian inspired wines because their winemaker/owner studied in the great "Down Under". This Rosé wine is made from 85% Grenache and 15% Counoise grapes grown and hand-harvested in the Golan Heights of Israel. It is alight-bodied, fresh, and clean wine characterized by citrus aromas. The grapes were soaked with the skins for 12 hours before pressing, and then underwent 4 weeks of fermentation at 12°C before being bottled.
